Pedrosa wins, drama for Rossi & Marquez

Dani Pedrosa (Honda) wins the Malaysian Grand Prix with Lorenzo in 2nd but the drama of the race was between Rossi and Marquez, both engaging in a hard battle lap after lap and Rossi blocking Marquez with the latter crashing out.

Pedrosa starting from pole got a clean start to lead into C1 with Marquez and Rossi following while championship fighter Lorenzo dropped to 6th behind the two Ducatis of Dovizioso and Iannone. 

Lorenzo soon got past both the Ducatis in a single move and slotted behind his title rival Rossi and two laps later got past his team mate in turn 1 closing the door hard. 

While Dani was leading comfortably, Marquez didnt force any challenge to his team mate but he went wide in a corner allowing Lorenzo to go ahead. 

Then started the drama between Marquez and Rossi with the thursday´s press conference attacks playing behind. Marquez dropped pace suddenly and was holding Rossi while Lorenzo was gaining. Rossi then made his move into 3rd but Marquez kept on retaking Rossi. 

The battle continued for the next 3 laps getting hotter and hotter but eventually it started to turn into smoke. On lap 6 the two riders became too carried away overtaking each other for a record 9 times and Marquez deliberatly making hard moves to hinder Rossi´s progress towards Lorenzo. 

With every move Rossi made Marquez came back at him with devilish moves clearly showing personal vendetta and not fair racing. Rossi also started giving looks and warning signs to the young rider and on lap 7 with Marquez thwarting another Rossi move, the legendary 7 time champion became furious and in an attempt to slow Marquez down he went wide slowing too much and giving hard looks, Marquez panicked and leaned on Rossi causing him to crash and clip Rossi´s leg off the foot peg and it looked like Rossi wantedly kicking the young rider with anger and thats it, a whole world of controversy erupted.

Marquez crashed but Rossi continued in third but was unable to catch up Lorenzo as he lost valuable time in the meddle with Marquez.

Mean while Iannone retired with a broken radiator while Cal Crutchlow made a harsh move on Dovizioso into the chicane and the Ducati rider crashed out.

The 20 lap race ended with Dani Pedrosa controlling the pace perfectly and winning over Lorenzo and Rossi coming third.

Race Direction intervened on the collision between Rossi and Marquez and penalized 3 license points on Rossi making him start the final grand prix in Valencia from the last spot on the grid creating a huge furore with the media and social networks.
